one more reason i dont post here anymore.

So yesterday, I found a very graphic sexual image of a six year old girl on dA's front page. It was not in the "latest submissions" category, so it must have been there for a while. I did not check any stats, I was too busy trying to report it ASAP. It was removed, and I was sent a notice confirming its removal.
My problem lies with their lack of response after I asked whether they had a means of retrieving this deviant's IP address and making sure the proper authorities could do their part in taking care of the matter. Here is the note I just sent:
"I recently contacted devart about a submission entitled "my little sis with her vibe". The submission was removed, but I received no answer to my follow up question of whether the submitter's IP address had been retrieved and sent to the proper authorities.
Depicted in that image was a scene of child abuse, and if deviantart is unable or unwilling to follow up on serious cases such as that, I would like to leave the site.
I would like my account purged. I will no longer be using deviantart's services, and I will be advising others not to use the services as well. Child abuse is a very real and serious problem, and I will not condone the use of a website that would just ignore a problem like that when dropped in it's lap.
Thank you for your time."
I know they will probably ignore this as well, but I just want to get this out there and make sure people know.
I spent all day yesterday thinking about that poor little girl and what her life must be like if she is viewing her body as a sexual object at six years old. I also thought a lot about the submitter. One does not wake up one day as and decide they will abuse a child, this behavior comes from somewhere.
Deviantart seems more than willing to simply brush this matter under the rug. I am left guilt ridden that I could not do further investigating of my own, but frankly, I just wanted the image off the site, ASAP.
Please pass this on, and let Deviantart know that you don't approve of their lack of policy concerning proof of child abuse on their website.
Thank you.
